Excellent service! Wonderful experience!
Our family went on a 3D2N cruise at Halong Bay and service on board was marvellous! From friendly staff who spoke English to lovely gourmet dinners, it was all we could ask for! From the start, Sophie was our contact person and she was very responsive and helpful on text. My pre-teen children had a great time on the legendary slide, and kayaking was fun too! Although hubby pulled a muscle on the slide, service was so good. The Asst Cruise Manager Chris gave him special attention and made sure he was comfortable and taken care of. The masseur on board was great too! It seemed as if all staff knew about the issue and asked after him. With the 3D2N cruise, we also got more of the bay and less of a crowd at Cat Ba village and the caves. Linh was a great tour guide (cum receptionist!). That was nice. Beyond our expectations!
The service, activities and room was perfect! We really enjoyed the kayaking and cycling, itinerary was fun to have but provided enough flexibility for us to not follow it all the time. Food was great. Overall, halong bay and capella cruise far exceeded our expectations! It is not as touristy and filled with litter as we heard, and we thoroughly enjoyed our short 3 days there, thanks to the capella team who took good care of us. Great service

The Best Cruise on Halong Bay!
The trip was an amazing addition to our 20 day honeymoon and so worth it! The transfer from Hanoi was convenient and comfortable. Halong bay has magical views and the Capella itself is a very beautiful ship. The entire ship was so clean and maintained. The staff are very professional, respectful and friendly. Big shout out to Mr Gin who was nice and very kind, Ms Candy, Mr Jojo, Mr Alex and the chef who we didn't meet. Capella is the gift that keeps giving!
This marked my second voyage on Capella Cruise, and it continues to be an enduring delight. Initially solo in April 2022, the experience was so captivating that I returned this year, this time accompanied by my husband to celebrate our honeymoon. The impeccable service provided by Alex and the entire crew surpassed my global travels to luxurious hotels. With Alex’s meticulous attention and the crew’s unmatched hospitality, our anniversary celebration is already in the plans. Ha Long Bay is an absolute must-visit, and Capella Cruise stands out as the ultimate choice. Capella Cruise in Halong and Lan Ha Bay
Great 3D/2N stay onboard. Lovely crew from arrival to departure. Very well organised activities and program with effective and clear instructions and reminders from cruise manager. Food spread is not too bad and set dinner is excellent with amazing dessert! Yummy!! Thank you Capella crew for making our stay onboard a very enjoyable and memorable one! Above expectations. Great experience as part of our honeymoon.
This trip was above expectations. First of all the crew is amazing and the boat is very clean and very well equipped and extremely comfortable. We stayed at the 3rd floor and enjoyed a big room. Balconies in rooms are bigger than in other boats and this allows for relaxation in the rooms with incredible views. Also the common areas are beautiful and very spacious. At no moment we felt that the boat was crowded. The lounge for the happy hour has great music and drinks. Finally the food is very good and very well served. Incredible Capella Cruise! 3 day 2 nights! What an amazing experience! Five stars!!!
What an incredible experience! We took the 3 day 2 night cruise and are so happy we did. We were picked up at our hotel in the Old Quarter in a luxury 'limo' bus, which made the trip to Ha Long Bay worry free. A comfortable waiting area at the dock with included refreshments made waiting pleasant and enjoyable. The wonderful cruise director introduced himself and gave us our wrist 'room' keys so we could go straight to our rooms once on board (no need to check in on board). The launch out to the Capella itself was very nice, with an enclosed interior protecting you from the elements. The greeting at the ship makes you feel very welcome. The ship also has an elevator, so any disabled people won't have any issues getting around once aboard (FYI, I am a disabled leg amputee). Our room was clean and ready for us. It boasts views, and a full bathroom. The meals are filled with a wide and tasty array of options, and the views from our table couldn't be beat. There is a nonstop schedule of activities, which immerses you deeper into the experience. You can try the water slide, kayak, swim, or you can just relax in your room, or lounge on one of the many deck areas available to you. Some other activities were to visit a local island village, swim at a secluded beach or go through caves on a boat. All fun and worth doing. The staff was helpful and friendly, always looking for ways to improve the experience for their guests. A special shout out to Gin, who was delight and made our cruise even better with his enthusiasm and smile! We were sad for our time to end. The luxury limo bus was waiting and took us right back to our hotels door in the Old Quarter Hanoi. We highly recommend Capella Cruise, it's amazing! P.S.
